We just posted some new pictures on the HSM Flickr Site. Click here to see them!
On October 3rd and 4th we’ll be serving in Mexico at an orphanage. This trip is a great time to connect with each other and be challenged to live out your faith in a very practical way. For more info, or to sign up to go, email Darren (darren@pccsc.org) or call him at the church office (940-2600).

Friday (Sept. 26) we’re going to see Switchfoot, Third Day, and Jars of Clay play in Irvine. If you’re interested in going, email Darren (darren@pccsc.org). Spots are limited so jump on it!
Joy and I jumped into the softball game and took a place in the outfield. (I was telling Joy that I hate the infield cuz you can so easily get nailed by a ball). Moments later (after taunting Matt Elias-Calles [one of our own HSM’ers at the plate), he hit a high line drive into the outfield which I quickly ran to catch and get him out (so I could mock him!). Obviously that didn’t happen. I took the ball right off the top of the glove into the bridge of my nose… a nice piece of humble pie! At least it’s not broken (although you may think so when you look at me?)! Matt… I have 2 words for you…. “watch your back!”

Here is the aftermath:
PCC’s youth ministry has had a close relationship with Rancho Sordo Mudo in Mexico, and many current HSM students have been to the ranch to serve.
Over the last couple years they’ve been making a movie to tell the story of the ranch and now it’s done!
They are premiering the movie at the Krikorian Theater in San Clemente on Tuesday, Sep. 23rd at 7:00 PM.
