What is a Community Group?

A Community Group is 8-16 people who get together weekly to connect and study God’s word. A trained leader guides each group. Meetings include refreshments, time with friends and last approximately 90 minutes.

Why are they important?

Community Groups are the hub of our ministry. The Bible teaches that spiritual growth occurs when people get connected to one another and God through his word. (Acts 2:42-43, Heb. 10:24) By living life together, we encourage one another to grow spiritually. It’s our goal to see every PCCer join a Community Group! Last year we had over 500 adults attend a small group.

What will we study?

The groups study the previous Sunday’s message. These “Sermon- based” Community Groups are the place where you get to roll up your sleeves and discuss how the sermon applies to your daily life. Each week PCC will provide you with a daily bible study and application questions to work through and discuss at your Community Group meeting.

What about child care?

Community Groups are for adults only. (Exceptions can be made for nursing newborns thru six months.) We have reasonably priced child care available at the church on Wednesday nights (6:30-8:30 pm).
