“Jesus loves me this I know.” It’s a great line from a popular song and it’s also our basis for ministry. Jesus loves kids and so do we at PCC. We desire to impact the children of our community with the message of God’s love by providing year-round programs, special events and summer programs.

Children’s Ministry is a place of wonder and discovery as children learn Biblical truths. We want to capture your child’s imagination to set them on a course to understand their uniqueness, worth, and purpose in God’s eyes.

We’re working to connect the church and the home, utilizing the efforts of both parents and the church body, to train children in “the way of the Lord” (Proverbs 22:6).

Nursery
Nursery is available to babies and toddlers from 0-2 years of age for all weekend and communion services. For those nursing moms, we offer a private room above the auditorium with a large two-way mirror allowing you to view the worship service with your infant. This room is reserved for nursing moms only.

Early Childhood
PCC offers a quality educational ministry to children age 2-preschool for all weekend and communion services. Each class provides a Bible lesson, music, games and fun crafts. A family room is available to those families that prefer to remain with their small children. Seating is limited, so please, one parent per child.

Elementary
Our elementary program (grades K-5) begins with a time of worship lead by our children’s worship team. After singing songs to our Lord, the children are taught a Bible lesson. They then break into small groups where they are taught how to apply God’s principles to their daily lives through hands-on activities.

Breakers Club (Pre/K-4th Grade)
Wednesdays (6:30-8:00pm)

The Bible is the centerpiece of everything we do. It’s the tool we use to introduce children to Jesus Christ. We want to help children use, understand, and apply the Bible in daily life.

Breakers Club is a hands-on, participative experience for active learners. The kids participate in a wide range of skill-building activities that include the arts, camping, sports, personal development and relationships.

S.U.R.F. Club
Share & Understand Real Faith (5th Grade)
Wednesdays (6:30-8:00pm)

Come and be part of our S.U.R.F. Youth Group designed specifically for 5th graders. Join us for fun-filled evenings unpacking Biblical truths, discussing real life issues, and memory verse application.

Throughout the year, we have special activities which include: service projects, Junior Winter Camp, Bowling, Movie Night, and Boomer’s Activity Center.

The Breakers and SURF Clubs are for children whose parents are regularly attending a Community Group on Wednesday evenings. For families who do not regularly attend a Community Group on Wednesday evenings, your child may participate if you volunteer twice a month (September – June). If couples discontinue their attendance at Community Groups we will need to discontinue the child’s participation in Pioneer and/or SURF to keep spots open for those families who all wish to attend grow ministries on Wednesday evening.
